Proactive Behaviour Support is a registered NDIS provider delivering Specialist Behaviour Support services for over five years. Founded by Amanda Bodycote, an experienced behaviour support practitioner and highly respected social worker with more than 25 years of experience in Adelaide’s WCH & LMH hospitals, DCP and Exceptional Needs Unit. At Proactive Behaviour Support, we pride ourselves on combining clinical excellence with compassion, advocacy, and meaningful outcomes for the individuals and families we support.
All our practitioners use a neuro-divergent affirming approach, and our team brings together specialists with diverse backgrounds in psychosocial assessment, therapeutic intervention, and complex support for both children and adults. The team are experienced in working with many different areas including physical, intellectual and developmental disability, psychosocial disability, acquired brain injury, dementia, trauma, family violence and grief and loss. We are committed to delivering evidence-based, person-centred support that empowers participants to live their best life and strengthens the capacity of their key supports.
